We are seeking a highly reliable bilingual candidate to support U.S. immigration attorneys in managing Removal Proceedings cases before the EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review). The role includes preparing forms, organizing evidence, managing critical deadlines, and maintaining direct communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and organize Removal case files (detained and non-detained): NTAs, charging documents, prior orders, and hearing notices.
  • Calendar Master and Merits Hearings; track deadlines and filing dates.
  • Prepare, assemble, and format EOIR filings (including indexes, tabs, pagination, and certificates of service).
  • Support the preparation and review of common defense forms and filings such as: I-589 (Defensive Asylum), EOIR-42B, EOIR-33, EOIR-29, G-28 updates, among others, as directed by the supervising attorney.
  • Gather and organize supporting evidence: civil records, criminal records, FOIAs, medical reports, country conditions, and affidavits.
  • Draft client declaration templates in English or Spanish for attorney review.
  • Coordinate certified translations and bilingual version control.
  • Maintain case data integrity within the case management system (e.g., MyCase or other designated software).
  • Communicate professionally with clients, co-counsel, and external providers while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Prepare executive case summaries and risk matrices for attorney review.
  • Provide administrative support for RFE/NOID responses when clients have multiple active processes (USCIS + EOIR).

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of verifiable experience handling U.S. immigration Removal Proceedings cases.
  • Advanced English proficiency (technical reading, legal writing, and verbal communication with U.S. attorneys).
  • Fluent, professional written Spanish.
  • Working knowledge of EOIR workflows (Immigration Courts, BIA, electronic or mail filings, certificates of service).
  • Experience managing immigration and EOIR forms in a high-volume environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in office software and advanced PDF tools (form filling, bookmarks, document merging).
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the highest confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational discipline, ability to manage remote work, and meet deadlines consistently.
